The device is suitable for sorting heterogeneous agglomerating materials (such as heavily moistened soils) to separate larger pieces, particularly in the mining industry.
Shafts equipped with sorting elements shaped like ellipses, with adjustable thickness and spacing, are mounted on the supporting frame structure of the separator. The sorting shafts are driven by a bevel-drive unit through a chain and sprockets. The device includes a tensioning mechanism for the chain.
The device can be structurally modified to increase capacity (by adding more shafts). The supporting structure is designed for anchoring or suspension.
