The subject of the work was the delivery, assembly and commissioning of the technology of crushing large pieces / lumps in the transported material for the dispatch of ammonium sulphate.
Ammonium sulphate lumps are formed by moisture and can reach
a size of up to 300 mm. The maximum allowed size of crushed lumps
is 20 mm.
For the possibility of placing the crusher on the drive station
of the belt conveyor, the cover and construction of the station were modified. The drive station was subsequently fitted with a new stainless steel cover.
he crusher consists of a swing arm with a mounting stand, a crushing cylinder with sorting disks, a drive system and sensors.
The drum consists of a cylinder adapted for the possibility of holding the sorting disks by means of threaded rods. The needle segments are made of Hardox 500 and are replaceable in case of repair.
The crusher works in parallel with the belt conveyor.
